Did you try unscrewing them???

If that doesn't work - applying some upward pressure and then trying to un-screw works. Slide a flat blade screwdriver under the plastic near the one you are trying to undo, and gently lever it up while unscrewing it........ if you get what I mean.

Cant you replace them if you break the screws.. you are talking about those silly plastic screws right..???

You have to put no downward weight on them when undoing them.. Also if that fails get a flat blade screw driver under the flap on the edge and just pop them out.. if you break them they are about $1-2 each at mits to replace..:)

them screws are little B** to remove , you have to get a small screw driver to remove them and be patient, thats one thing i'm not at times.

you can also slide the flat blade screwdriver to apply pressure onto the screw... then GENTLY undo the screw using another on top WITHOUT applying any pressure to the screw itself...

done it many times with subborn plastic screws....

Im well rehe****d in getting those lil ****ers out. Like the guys mentioned with the screw driver is the best. But sometimes they just dont budge, expectially if the thread is a bit munched on either side. It doesnt take much.

Just curious, if you stick down, how are u gonna get it off again???

They are called scrivets. If they won't budge just rip em out or drill em out without damaging the grill and buy some replacements from supercheap. They don't cost much.

Just rip those little black screws out and replace them all for a couple of bucks. Champion make replacements for all those types of screws. They also do all the little push in type ones and also all the plugs that hold your carpets and boot liners in. You can get them from Supercheap etc
