I drove to and from Kyabram today (around 450k round trip) and i found that the car lacked power accelerating, especially around over 60 or so k's.
I also was trying to test my cruise control (its a vacuum model), and it runs off the same vacuum line as the fuel pressure regulator (before the solenoid thingo) Anyhoo i was testing it and i found there was a lower amount of vacuum, i felt the cruise was acting slowly (as if it had low vacuuum)
The power was strange, like i went from 110 to 40 and there was a speed bump and it stalled going over it!! That coulda just been a steep bump, i dunno (i was in first)
Anyhoo the question before you is... Do you think my vaccum line is getting old (it aint perfect) and therefore theres less vacuum, and less vacuum means slower cruise, and less fuel pressure regulator effectiveness = lack of power?
