Well i had a problem with low vacuum in the fuel pressure regulator line, and low top end power.

I replaced the vauum line today and the line looked wet inside, and smelt of petrol, so im guessing that the fuel pressure regulator is ratshirt.

So the question is, how much will a fuel pressure regulator for a TN magna set me back? Ive heard of rising rate fuel pressure regulators, are they worth it? and how much are they?

thanks

A Malpassi rising rate fuel pressure regulator is worth just over $200 from Memory.

You should'nt need one on your Magna.

There most popular use is in High HP applications where your injectors have reached maximum flow capacity (100% duty cycle), the rising rate fuel pressure regulator allows fuel pressure to increase in the fuel rail, effectively squirting more fuel thru each injector....allowing more HP to be made on said injectors.

Puts added strain on Fuel pumps to hold the pressure.

Just replace the standard item ;)
