I am about to change my shocks and springs (front and rear) with some secondhand bits and want to check that I have the right types.
Can any one tell me the location of the colour marking (codes) on the Strut assembly. The springs are marked clearly (Front - orange/yellow) (rear - brown /yellow). How do I find the colours for the shock absorbers and what would be the correct colour for my car?

Also for the front shocks the manual gives a number of types, I don't understand the codes :
ie TS 4-0-41&45 = Yellow
TS 3-0-41&45 = White
