I want to get a new muffler (probably a lukey) and want to get a nice oval tip sticking straight out. What are tyhe pros/cons of cutting the bumper? Has anyone already done it? Where should I go to do it? (I live in knox, vic)

any help would be much appreciated

Cheers mate.

So is the panel beaters the way to go? I reckon it would look better with a lip of sorts around the cut out, just so it doesnt look so ametuerish.

Hey man i live in mulgrave and i got a lukey exhaust on my KR verada.
It sounds awesome.
I got it done at springvale exhaust, it only cost me 220 with a tip and all the resinators taken off.
Why dont you try getting it done there?

Pursuit, do have any contact details for that joint? I will give em a call but I am still deciding what I want and looking at prices.

Soothers, if you don't mind my asking how much did yours cost to do? It looks pretty sweet

$60 for the tip, $30 to cut out the bumper and $30 to make and fit another pipe coming from the muffler..

My bumper is not cut, and i have a 2.5" tip below the bumper --- and I can tell you, when I get extractors, I'll be getting it cutout, cause it's too low and I occasionally scrape it on exiting horror driveways.
