thanks found it #141. I was going to buy a BA xr6 falcon but every man and his dog has one. I knew about the ralliart magna but had never really seen one. This one came up for sale so i thought id take a look just out of curiosity, one drive that was it bought the next day. I was very surprised by the power and finish of the car. The tourque feedback through steering was a bit of a challenge at first but after a few days i got a handle on it. Any suggestions on getting more grunt without opening it up it is after all mums shopping trolly:cool:

not alot you can easily and cheaply do to the ralliart

extractors and a chip will see the power at the wheels around 160kw, but it will probably cost you easy 2k

Uh... Yeah, ok.

Depends how much power you want mate and how deep your pockets are. You could go extractors + full exhaust, chip and tune for around $2.5k which should net you around 20kW ATW gain. Or you could get some cams and cam gears which are around the same price but you will need a chip for those too. Do a search for what mods people have done on here and look at profiles too, like TZABOY's profile and cthulu's profile. They will give you a good idea. If you really wanna go hardcore, check out Black Beard's profile. He has a custom twin turbo setup.

probably the best bang for your buck (which isn't cheap mind you) would be the sprintex supercharger. the engine is not opened up, just the intake manifold is replaced with a blower. prob get around 40-50 kw at the wheels, more if you do the exhaust at the same time but you're up for 7G for the blower

a good start is a full aftermarket exhaust and replace everything! then grab yourself a unichip piggyback ecu which is $1200 installed and tuned. this will get the best gains out of the engine and exhuast upgrade.

pretty much with exhaust and chip you can get your car down to a low 14 second quater mile. ive had mine clocked at 14.006 @ 98.15MPH with these mods plus just a few more.

hope thats an encouragment and wasn't too scary. i hate playing cars but im addicted

from what I know the extractors fitted on ralliart are ceramic (aka good quality). I would not touch them. Tzaboy's advice is sound. If you have the money look into it (supercharger sounds niiiiicccce)
