View Full Version : Manual for TJ
Dear guys,
have just bought a TJ01 recently. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any books, including manual.
Where can I get his from? Anyone willing to lend me for photocopy? I am in Sydney.
I would like to change the time, since today is daylight savings time.
Thanks guys, suggestions are most welcome.
You could try ebay or the wreckers.

generally speaking you hold down the time button on the HU.
Then followed by pressing the left '<' button, this changes the hour and whilst still holding time, press the right '>' symbol and this will change minutes. :D
did think u needed a manual to work it out?
Guys,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I will need the manual not only to change the time. I need the manual also for reference guide though.
Will try the trick later when reach home.
Cheers

I'm after a manual or a scanned copy as well. I cant even get the clock to appear on mine. Only distance, fuel economy, speed alarm and a couple of others.
Every now and then it seems to beep to my annoyance then i have to press mode to change it onto something else, then to really piss me off it will beep again when the cars fuel economy changes by .1 . I end up just resetting it all the time (by pressing all 3 buttons) just to stop the damn beeps.

You'll more than likely find that your model doesnt display the clock on the same screen as the trip computer, only on the factory head unit.
Also, your trip computer should only beep when you press a button or when you exceed the speed set into the speed limit alarm (to turn this off hold the up and down arrow buttons until the speed is cleared).

the trip counter/ speed warning thingy in my car beeps every 20 hours (drive time) since it resets itself after that time. it will beep on the minute for the last 5 minutes, just ignore it and it rolls over on its own.
and turn the speed warning off, i think you hold all 3 buttons while starting the car. might be diff for you model just give it a shot.

TJ lower models only have trip computer in the middle dash.
If you have a Verada KJ & upper models then the middle dash has 2 displays in 1,
clock on left and computer on right.
To set clock - have key turned to ACC, hold down MODE then press the v/^ buttons.
Think its gotta be done with the engine off, 'cos if the key is in ON then holding
down the MODE will reset the trip computer. (that's what happens on mine always)

arent you worried about the car not coming with any books mate???

Just hold the up/down buttons together for a few seconds - and there's no need to do it while starting the car - you can do it when the car is running.
Cheers,
Martin.
