well soon i will coming into some money and at the current moment i have a jbl 12" 1000w woofer in stock box with a **** port hole that ive jammed shut with a sock, Pioneer DEH-P6850MP headunit, JBL GTO75.4 4 channel amp with JBL - GTO936 6x9's running off the amp.

My future idea is

1. keep the HU
2. keep 6x9's but run em off the HU
3. buy this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SOUNDSTREAM-12-Dual-1ohm-T4-Tarantula-Series-Subwoofer_W0QQitemZ190043796139QQihZ009QQcategoryZ 18803QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

by the way does anyone have any idea on how well this plays any sort of music, cos i wanna go boom boom boom, and the chicks wanna get in my room:cool: (did i just say that?)
4. then run the soundstream sub off this baby

by the way how would u reckon this would go?
im into every sort of music under the sun except cowboy crap. would there be too much fiddling around?

that amp wont suit that sub on the slightest sorry mate :(
the sub has dual 1ohm coils, and the amp can only run 4ohm bridged, you need a dual 2ohm woofer to achieve this.

T4 subs go pretty hard, and thats a great price that your looking at, all you needa do is find a different amp (preferrably a monoblock), or find a T4 with dual 2ohm coils and youll be laughing :)

yep that'd work a treat with a dual 1ohm T4 :)

another suggestion (only if you had the extra budget), would be a Response 1500W monoblock off ebay for $495 or so.. then you can rewire the sub to parallel so the amp is running 0.5ohm, if you ever enter an SPL competition, gain a fair bit of power this way :D

PM me your msn if you wanted to spam any questions or anything :)
