I got a leak at the front window, but to fix it I need to take off that metal strip on top of the window. It seems like it's attached with "C"-shaped plastic pins, but how to get rid of those??

most owners leave that strip off and fill the whole cavitity with clear silicone

woop i hope your not serious, silicone produces acetic acid when it cures and promotes rust, and im sure most first gen owners know that there is enough rust under there from factory :bowrofl:

That's good news, just yeank them out :). That's fine with me, in fact, I think they've been yanked out before already!

By the way, mad lante, where did you get that sports look from? We call them "spoilers" in holland, I don't know the australian word for it :). How much does that cost?

get the neutral cure stuff used for making fish tanks

Used that to cure the water leaks, no sign of rust.

Used ShoeGoo to glue back the strip (which flew off at 100km/h on freeway).
