Has anyone got weathershields on the front of a TJ?

As the TJ has frameless windows on the front doors, you can't use the "normal" weathershields, but believe Mitsubishi sold some smaller weathershields that attached to the body.

If anyone has these installed, I would be interested in seeing some pics, and some comments on how effective you think they are.

I like to drive around with my window open, and my previous car had a weathershield, which shields the driver from getting too wind-blown.

I posted enquiring about this about a year ago, didnt get any replies that panned out. Supercheap are supposed to have them, except the people at supercheap know nothing about it :)

i had similar weathershields on my Subie and have just taken them off as they weren't worth the wind noise, and water would drip in anyway. Don't know if the Mitsi ones are any better, but they usually aren't as big as " normal " weathershields, so you might have the same problem.

The mistu ones attach at the top of the window onto the frame of the car.

They stick out about an inch.

I can't imagine they would provide a shielding effect from wind or rain.

I had these on my TJ, they are small but were effective at stopping rain running off the roof and in through my window. They didnt seem any more noisy than the standard TJ wing mirror's whistle.
I do have pics of when they were fitted to my car but there isnt much to see, as there isnt much to them at all.

the weathershields are slimline types.. only good if you are a smoker, as thery are about an inch wide! not worth the money in my opinion!
