Ok just having an issue with the Power steering/Alternator Belt Adjustment Pulley
Ive put the pulley on With the Lip Facing away from the engine, as to stop it slipping off, however it rubs against the edge
If i turn the pulley around so the lip is facing towards the engine, ta-da it comes off
All im after a picture of someones TR-KS V6's Adjustment Pulley for the Power steering/ Alternator Belt
Thanks, Paul

Yeah thats the one, Dammit!
As soon as the engine turns it just slips right off, like it isnt even tight?
its a new belt and everything, but it just slips right off that one bloody pulley
Its the only thing stopping me from driving the f**king thing!

why dont u just weld some thing to the other side of that pully 2 stop it falling off so the pully acts like a grove for the belt 2 sit in like the alternator :)

The only tool ya need is a 14mm Rachet...You can just go as far as ya want tightening it...whats wrong with ya car?

Ok i have ONE more question to ask
IF anyone can take theres off, has a spare one...does it have a plate that goes behind the pulley? It still seems to be well not alinged properly and im thinking i may of missed some sort of backing plate?
Anyone confirm this?
Its here...

if you're still struggling tomorrow i can go take a photo of my old engine. Are you saying it's just slipping off that tensioner??
I have an exam tomorrow morning at 8.30am after having one today at 8.30am so i have to catch up on the study.
Forgot to congrartulate everyone on their very tidy engine bays.

Yep, just comes right off, and i have it under alot of tension, only about 2mm play each side
Like i said i think there is a backing plate behind it but i dont know for sure, its on a slight angle and im guessing thats why its coming off
to get the tenionser off, get a 14mm rachet and turn it twice to undo it
then get the 14mm and a short extension and start to undo the tenion on that pulley by the nut placed right above the tensioner to the rear, once the belt can come off, keep undoing the first nut so the tensioner now comes right off
its about a 10 min job to get it off and on again....then again i have done it a good 7 times...
GRDPuck....Thanks for the piccys mate, But unfortunatly the plate im after is behind that small pulley, i have to say one thing, you have a kick ass camera and a very steady hand...

Well im off to the wreckers tomorrow to hopefully have my pride and joy up and running..
One thing i need is a good camera, we have a ****ty HP (its good enough for now) but sometimes it gets annoying, basically any photo you take by hand will come out blurry...

Ok so i went to the wreckers and found two V6's (One Manual and a wagon!! )
Pulled these pulleys off both of them only to discover there is NO plate behind it...Just the pulley
So ive put the wrecker pulley on and the belt hasnt come off yet, but is definatly off track, about 2mm off track to be sure, i drove it to the shops and back (w00t) and yeah i dont think the belt likes the uneven stress....
*sigh* The saga continues
EDIt
Pics...see how it just comes out a little bit? Its like the pulley isnt even supposed to go back this far

just carry a spare belt and pulley in your car until you're confident that they won't snap.
