I have just installed a new pioneer deck into my 96 te magna and I'm having troubles with my speakers cutting out with too much bass input.

When I turn up the stereo and there is too much bass in the song, all sound cuts out. the deck still has power and still operates fine.
After 5 minutes or so, the sound returns.
Does anyone have a clue on whats going on here?
Does my standard speaker system, have some sort of thermal overload in its circuit?
I know its not a fuse blowing or anything because it all works fine after 5 mins or so.
Would anyone have a wiring diagram, that might shed some light on this problem.

thanks

You should've bought a Aerpro Wiring Harness for it. Would've made it 10 times easier.. two plugs to plug in.. put back your centre console and you're done. That way there aint no need to mess around with wires.

i had this issue but all it was was the fuse was about 2mm too short for the Amp fuse holder - so i adjusted it and it now works fine

but I am not sure of the power overloads on the pioneer sorry
