IMHO DON'T DO CANNONS!!!
I cannot stress how much rice I believe they are. And wagons with cannons i have never seen. Get a decent 2.5" cat back with a nice super-cat muffler or something like lukey with quality. A few hotdog resonators will need to be put in place if its too loud/drony.
Go to an exhaust place and tell them what you want. Prices prices prices. From memory of other peoples a normal cat back 2.5" is what $200-$300? Someone correct me.

Thanx, i assumed the canon would look and sound gross. I dont want that bigger exhauset but i would like a nice sound however. Do lukeys sound the best?

Mine from cat back sports exhaust, which mind you isn't the greatest performance wise exhaust mod, as not stainless steel and not from engine, and with no extractors, I think mine was $200 supplied n fitted

I'm 18 n finishin HSC. Think I have $? I'm in same boat. Do searches for real popular and really easy/cheap mods. Like the McCormicks spice resonator mod. Do a search for it.

Good work. Exhausts sound best when warm/hot. Come to some meets. If you can make it Penriff Meet should be on next thursday the 9th, at Krispy Kremes Car park. Ask as many questions as you want there, and don't hide in the shadows. Keepa look out for the "Penriff Meet" thread

I fitted the lukey. part number is different than sedan, so make sure you've got a supplier who knows his stuff. muffler cost aroun $220 + $50 for fitting. You can hardly notice any noise difference, but it picks up much better.
You might also try a K&N panel filter (aparently there have been some problems with pods). I found this to be quite a nice combination for a small, but noticable performance increase (they reckon 8kw, in line with the vr-x). Dont expect any improvement in economy though.

the muffler delivers a nice "real six" sound, but virtually no noise increase.

Rubbish. A Lukey is significantly louder than any stock (non-sports) muffler.

Isn't the lukey just the muffler they use on the stock magna sports?

I always assumed that lukeys had a "growl" to them
