Is it just me or does the rear bumper for the TJ Magna look really retarted and not give the TJ the aggressive look it needs from the rear?
Cos theres this 'crease' running right across the middle of the rear bumper which makes it look not that tough.

Pretty sweet ai? Well I think so at least..it gives the TJ that PHAT look it deserves. i noticed that the TL Magna has got rid of the old rear bumper, but they still need to work on the new one...and anyway the new Magna don't look that good in the first place :lol:

You gotta remember, Mitsu doesnt make the car for us. They make it for the fleet owners and semi-retired folk who buy the car in the masses.

And the last thing they worry about is whether the rear-end looks phat :lol:

But, in the end, looking at a stock TJ, I think it's perfect.

Haha, yeh thats true. Mitsubishi should try harder I reckon, I mean they got some really nice cars but none of them are available in Australia. For example the Eclispe Spyder and the Evo VIII. Of course not many people in Australia will be able to afford them compared to the high average U.S income but we can all drool over them at the Showrooms or the Motorshow can't we? 8-[

I really like those 'skirts. I think the rear end of the Magna is fine, except for the models where the middle-lower part of it protrudes a fair bit. The front and sides need fattening from standard, if you ask me!

..well it's just that as i look outside at my dad's stock TJ Sports....the rear isn't all that exciting. i.e. Lights, bumper position of everything....how are you meant to get an aggressive rear side of the car with circular lights which aren't even darkened? I mean in other makes and models the lights are darkened for sports series such as commodore, falcon, astra, focus, golf and the list goes slightly further than that 8) I guess im just looking for something to spice up the magna. but i gotta wait a while :-$...i'm only 14...:-$..hehe

Step #1. Take hacksaw. Step #2. Aquire electrical tape, rubber mallet, wood glue and bedding foam. Step #3. Create "super-extraordinary-magnificent-ultra-combo-custom" Magna. Step #4. Cry yourself to sleep.

i think he did, all you need to do is sand down the area, get some putty,

fill the line, sand it smooth, paint :D

also that diamante is a TE-TH model - not a TJ model - look at the tail lights

but yeah - i agree the line is not so flash!!

yes i had the line removed on my rear bar. Makes it look a lot better i reckon. I think without a kit, the line works well. Plus it was originally put to match with the line halfway down the boot on the te-th. Guessing to cut costs they left it there for the tj or were saving to make the tl look that little bit more different (especially since the tj and tl rears are very similar).

hehe theres a lot of WOW when i take my car out. Ive had little kids screaming my plates as ive driven past and even people getting me to wind down my window to make a comment bout how they like my car or that they are "watching me". Was a bit of a shock the first time it happened.. got used to it now and love it! :D

Well I was going to make a comment how they fattened the boot lid which took away some of the rear character on the J and L, but WTCHME that is one F'N wicked arse end a perfect balance of lets play and leave me alone less you want to get burnt.

Now can someone fix the front of a TL.
