As you can see form the pic, the number plate is too big to fit. Does anyone know where you can get those number plate attachments that petrude out, i think i seen them on accord euro's? Any other ideas?

Use longer screws and put a couple of washer behind the plate...:D

Or you could get some slimline plates.

my plates fits perfectly in that gap and i have those big ugly plates to.
plus i have like half a finger gap on either side.

is your number plate old or new? coz i remember hearing that the new plates are a tad smaller. unless im tripping balls lol

I have just ordered a new set of plates for mine, cos the black and yellow looks crap on a white car. Does vic have a website where you can check for plates, cos up here in Syd you can get all sorts of styles and colours.
If you want to fix the current one, perspex or rubber blocks cut to suit would do it without damaging the paint like washers might, and clark rubber are in vic. They have heaps of different rubber shims and blocks. Are a great place to get fillers for any panels that vibrate when you turn the stereo up too. Here is the store list in Vic.
