was thinking of spraying the woodgrain plastic bits in my car either silver or black because i just basically dont like them. just wondering if maybe the Ei had just normal black pieces in the console and around the power windows or was it wood grain also?

if anyone wants to play swapsies i am more than happy. i'm pretty sure the Xi was the only one that had the coin section and drink holder covers? correct me if i'm wrong. would like to keep those bits though as they help keep it nice and neat.

what sort of paint should i use and how many coats of clear is best? will post pics when i am finished with them :D

A hell of a lot of people have painted their consoles, you should try a search.

When I did my exec's console in silver i just used wax & grease remover, about 3 coats of plastic primer and about 4 of paint. Clear is optional; I personally didn't use it.

if you do it please get a stock magna's plastic bit if possible, the woodgrain looks teh sex on the tj on...

thought i'd better post it's a 98 KH verada. dont know if that makes any difference...

for any swaps info. has slight swirl marks from cleaning. being a 98 this is to be expected. the rear left passenger power window bit is the only one with a slight defect. a scratch about as big as >>>>> * <<<<< that. otherwise it's in really good nic. i went over it shining a torch on an angle that shows up everything. will take photo's when the light is a lot better.

gonna spray those wood grain bits this weekend i am hoping. no-one want to swap at all?? local only though.
