How hard is it to remove the front passenger seat (with intention of putting it back lol)from a 3rd gen?

Very easy 2 nuts at the front and 2 bolts at the back, put the seat back all the way forward, it's much easier to take out if it's folded over

what about the rears?

rears are just as easy take the bottom of the seat first there are tabs on each side about the middle of each side of the floor, pull them to release the seat pull up and forward, the back rest if I remember correctly has a bolt either side and one in the middle raise the seat and it comes out, I think you may need to remove the hatch surround from the back first but I cant remember.

It is a good idea to remove the ski port surround before removing the backrest.
