I want to buy a set of handles and surrounds in chrome. My mitsunishi dealers says hes never heard of them. Does anyone have a part number?

yeah, he also said that you cant buy anntena masts for tj's and i have to buy the whole electric unit for $119. I'll look into it but it sounds like bull**** to me, apparently thats the way it is for late model 2001 tj's.

have you tried any wreakers?
oh and dont worry about mitsubishi they have got alot of spanners working for them
like the time when they said 380 side indicators fit TL's

the chrome surrounds are on ebay 2nd hand though... and the chrome handles are too.... complete rip off... remember not all radas have chrome surrounds... might have just been TE/F XI

i got mine from the wreckers... cheap cheap :D

i had several ppl tell me that colour coded exteriors arent avaliabe... untill one day someone actualy did look....!!

although one guy did tell me that as the parts get older and the models are out of production, therefore certain different items like your chrome handles etc... arent avaliable anymore :(

My bottom-of-the-range 3rd Gen Verada (KE ei) has chrome handles and surrounds. So I cant see why later models wouldnt have them.

I got some the other week for a Mitsi place - just rang up and asked for 3rd Gen Verada chrome interior door handles and got em straight away. Come in two bits - the handle ($21)and the surround ($22) so $43 each so $172 for the set. Ive got the part numbers at home will post up 2moro
