I've just picked up another TH Grill to Mod

Now should I mod it or leave it standard

and if I mod it what should I do with it.

ok any ideas of what I could do with it

as BillionaireBoysClub said do something different

I'm now open to ideas.

Ive just picked up a grill too but its a tf , which ive been told is a bstard to mod. But im thinking of doing a tj grill or something different using fibreglass.

WTF is a billet grill

you know how some vents have downward facing horizontal lines... i would suggest something like that... it looks good in my head :)

So say about 2 or 3 horizontal bars, slightly downward facing...

Youre a trend man, goodluck with it :)

i just got some mesh put in my grill,it looks so badass,those letterbox grills look sweet,do a search for them have a look,then you could put like a badge in the center or get your own one custom made that would look pritty sick!:)

ha i think he knows bout the letterbox grille with the badge in the middle since he was the first to do it as far as i know

I was one of the first to do it with the TH grill I did it in Sept 2003, before me was 2much with a TF grill, he gave me the inspiration to do it.


I'm now thinking of doing the same again or maybe something different

i think something along the lines of the KH grill, but letterboxed with the horizontal bars going all the way across

A grill machined from a solid piece of material :D not that it would make any sense labour and cost wise.

I'm after a TH Grill too.. I've got 2 x TF ones that I'm gonna mod on the weekend.. but I want a TH one for the TF, coz they look better!

and a side note I nearly didn't have my first grill as an oLd gentleman in a 4WD with a Trailer backed into me today at the lights and cause around a grands damage to the front of my car.

but my grill survived. but it bent the crap out of my bonnet

However you want, Billet means - "machined from a solid piece"
IE: not cast, moulded or pieced together.

i started my letter box grill mod today, and yes a tf grill is a bstard to mod lol

both bits are now cut to shape, used a bit of filler on the black bit as it left a massive gap at the bottom when i sanded it, left it until next weekend now
