Hi guys, my rocker cover has been sealed with silicon..... I hate that and want to put an original seal back there. Does anyone know if those seals are re-usable or do I need to get a new one (if so, where??)

ok, I'll give that a go. By the way buffy, that hose that goes from the HIA to some valve that feeds the cat convertor with clean air, if you take that hose off the HIA you can feel the vacuum but is it normal that the hose sounds like there is a leak in the muffler? It doesn't work anymore on my TN, so I can't compare the sounds :)

thats normal for a TP carby model
if the original manifold is fitted they crack between third and fourth cylinder
one usually fits extractors
Do you mean the manifold or the gasket that cracks in these models?

gaskets blows at number one cyl and the exhaust manifold cracks
that amount of vaccume is normal
Just wondering, are you sure there is a leak either in the gasket or manifold? The sound comes really out of that hose, if I block the hose with my hand, the sound is gone.

Yes, that's right, it is hose number 3. It pulls a strong vacuum when I disconnect the hose from the HIA but it also sounds like a leak in some exhoust manifold. I just wonder if that sound is normal when the hose is disconnected from the HIA (otherwise it sounds OK)
