the globes you want to put in are almost double the power rating (which means double the current) than the stocko globes... you'll melt the wiring to the headlights.

i got no idea for how long, but when i put in my new white globes, the ones i took out were 90W/100W. Got no probs with my lights at all and i had them ones in for at least 6 months before changing them. Previous owner must have put in the wrong ones... guess im lucky it hasnt caused any damage?
Did you buy them from ebay?

And you'll annoy the hell out of anyone infront of you.
Use the correct rated bulbs.

If you are using these in a stock magna 3rd gen exec, no. You need a wiring harness! The voltage drop is too great, and you end up with nice yellow headlighst (as well as hot wires/connectors etc).
The standard wiring is marginal at best anyway. Even using standard wattage, you benefit from a harness - I was making these (and still am for a few interested parties) but I have little time these days :(
You can run 90/100's IF your headlamps are clean, aligned and you have a wiring harness. If you have a lot of stone chips on the lens - forget it.
Never use off-brand overwatts - Philips, Hella, Osram, Narva (in that order of preference) or ONLY - PIAA suck too btw.

I have used many 90/100W lightbulbs in my exec magna in the past, and i did melt the connectors. It was quite bad. I had to replace them with some from supercheap ;)
I would say, dont bother. Even though it didn't melt my headlights (its glass anyways) and the reflector isn't burned or warped, i wouldn't recommend it. If you want some nice bright light, get philips crystal vision. Nice bright light and are only 55w. I've been using them for years.
Also, stay away from those ****ty cheap asian light bulbs. They may look fancy, but dont last long and are dodgy.
