Has anyone tried an ODB monitoring device or software on a magna?

There's some pretty cool devices around, typically with a USB interface:
ODBScan (http://www.obdscan.net/)
VagCom (http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/interfaces.html)
CarChip E/X as reviewed by SiliconChip (http://siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_107695/article.html)

While most of these are for monitoring the ECU, some allow reprogramming, using software such as EcuFlash (http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash) (and their website lists (http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash:VehicleSupport) a couple of Mitsu models as being supported).
