Good stuff - does the car itself feel a little more rigid with less body flex? I mean, structurally more rigid? The only reason I ask is that apparently they help reduce flex between the strut towers and I was wondering whether you had noticed?

yeah, it does. it seems a lot stiffer on turn-in and I'm able to hold a faster line through corners.
but I'm not sure how much of that is the strut brace and how much is me.

I found the same thing when I put mine on it sits much flatter through the corners, I still have a little bit of body roll as I don't have a rear sway bay, but the difference in handling is amazing.

I have never really had any axle tromp... the lack of a manual gearbox seems to sort that out for me.

I personally didn't notice any significant difference with the strutbrace, however the upsized rear whiteline adjustable swaybar transformed the car's handleing, on the medium setting it feels quite balance, and the back kicks out a bit if you are bit rough with it.
I suspect you'll be more impressed with the swaybar :)
I'm gonna take the strutbrace off, and do a comparison again out of curiousity.

I noticed since I put my strut brace in it's a bit easier to control through corners and gives you a heap more feedback. I've already got rear sway bars so she's pretty rigid... fun in long roundabouts. :D

I miss my strut brace
Sold my car and driving a TJ with no strut brace. It's like going back to driving a boat!
The car was quite solid on the road and I loved driving on windy roads. Now it's not much fun.

You'd never get a supercharger because you can't fit a strut brace? :bowrofl:

Mate I do too, but saying you'd rather fit a strut brace than a supercharger is kinda like saying you'd rather masturbate than have sex with Elisha Cuthbert. :bowrofl:

And whats wrong with Masturbation married men all over the world do it every day, and it's easier to get a strut brace than a Super Charger.
So to sum it up I've got more chance at having a wank than having sex with Elisha Cuthbert. so I'll just stick to my Strut brace.:gtfo:

lol that's nowhere near what it is. It's the difference between having better handling or more power...I know what I'd choose.

Yeah, more power! My friend has a supercharged VP SS with 300atwkw and it has standard brakes, standard 500 year old suspension and no bars. lol
