Hi guys,
New on the forums as I just purchased my TH V6Si Manual Magna.
Anyways, got some quotes for a full exhaust system for it today. Got 3 quotes of $1650, $1800 and over $2000 for full Stainless Steel Exhaust system with Extractors.
Funny coz the cheapest one was from the most reputable Exhaust Centre in Perth....
Thats $1650 fully installed. Also was wondering what setup I should get.....Straight through muffler with dual resonators?
Help would be much appreciated...
Thanks Guys

Straight thru muffler with dual resinators will be very quiet - almost stock sounding when driven normally, but with a better note and nice growl when giving it a bootful.
You can save yourself alot of money by purchasing an "off the shelf" 2.5" mild steel system, but it's your money, if you want S.S - I won't try to talk you out of it.
Can i ask the reason it needs to be stainless?

i guess if he want to keep for a life time, pretty sure stainless steel doesnt rust.

I wasn't really after stainless I think the guy at exhaust place sorta talked me into it.......saying much better lifespan.....
But I'm starting to think it doesn't matter hey.....so you reckon just get extractors and a bolt on 2.5" System?
Or a specific Muffler resonator setup??

mild steel lasts about 5-10 years anyway doesnt it???
so if ur planning on keeping ur car longer than that well than i guess s/s is a good way to go. although u could jus go mild steel piping and s/s muffler. looks the same cause no one notices the piping really depending on how u have it set up.
