hey just wondering if anyone knows where i can get metallic red exhaust tips ? ............. i seen em round but i looked everywhere and cant find em

Those metallic red ones with heaps of little holes around the main rear outlet are sold in "$2" shops, ie Clints, The Warehouse, Go Lo etc. They are alongside stick on vents and the like. I may have also seen them in Repco, but I am not sure.

??? For starters I'm PRETTY certain you can't Anodise anything other then Aluminium.. & I think the process is done by passing a high current through a chemical bath useing the item as an ANODE to which the colouring parts of the chemical are attracted & pentrate the item to a depth of 2-3 mm.
Therefor it'd be pretty damned HARD to do it urself & a chrome plated steel would be completely unsuitable. :shock:

well u buy a piece of aluminium pipe the size u want. and anodising at home is fairly easy. there was an article on it in Atomic MPC magazine. then just go to any sheet metal work/boiler making workshop and they (if their any good should be able to weld it on for u.

i've got my scanner working again so i can scan the article if ppl are interested.

well i just ordered a $2600 sound system :D ............ 2x 12's :D mp3 deck and 2 amps (one amp digital:D) so that set my new car thing back a lil
but im hopeing to get a te magna 3-4 months ............. or late this year to ealry next if i get into my tafe cousre as i wont be able to work all that much :(
