I have owned my TH magna for about 2 years now and i have started to do some minor modifications to it such as VRX rear spoiler, 17" rims and a cannon exhaust. But there are two questions I would like to know.
1) is it possible to get twin exhaust all through my car with extractors leading to two cats and then leading out to the twin exhausts, my mate said it cant be done because of the fuel tank.
2) How do you get the ceiling interior light out because I think I have ether blown a fuse or the globe has had it.

there shouldnt be any reason you cant make a custom exhaust that will fit around the tank, but that ofcourse will need custom mounts etc, also what i think your friend tried to say, is maybe the exhaust wouldnt go underneath the fueltank {because it will lower the rideheight to much then you will end up scraping it and have big holes in the exhaust, as a lot of my mates have found when they cut springs i their rides.
id say get underneath it and habve a look, if there is room, even if you have to run the exhaust around the tank, it can be done.
but ofcourse it will have to pass a roadworthy aswell, so check that out before dishing out the money!

Thanks for that I just came back from profix and they said that they could put the extractors on for $700, $250 for the other cat, $240 for the other sports cannon exhaust and another $350 for the new piping. But they said that going bigger than 2 1/4 there will be no back pressure and its better to stay at 2 ¼.
Do you know if there are any other places around SA that do exhaust systems?

as for the light...
if u look carefully, there should be a slight indent on one of the sides. VERY carefully use a flat screw driver to provide leverage and u should get it off with minimum fuss. jus b careful not to use too much pressure otherwise u will snap the plastic cover.

When you change the bulb, make sure you pull up the yellow fuse cradle in the engine bay fuse box, or you'll blow the fuse while changing the bulb over.

Only if you put it in backwards lol.

D&T and Exhaust Technics are pretty good. D&T have done 3rd gen magnas before. Check
their website (http://www.dtperformance.com.au/mitsupage.htm)

You won't fit a dual exhaust all the way under with 2 cats, there just isn't enough room. And even if you could, you wouldn't want to because it would actually be deterimental to your cars air flow providing too much and hence your car won't be able to use scavenging. Just go with a straight through 2.5" system with extractors, high flow cat and a high flow stainless muffler. That'll give a nice gain in performance all through the rev range, give you a nice note and also pave the way should you ever want to do any more mods.

Hence the desing of the D&T dual system with a cross tube that links the two exhaust
pipes. There is also another system where the two pipes meet in an X style.

Just had a quick look. Their system looks pretty good, tho I still don't like the idea of duals, not needed unless you want it for looks. Am I blind or wasn't there any pricing?

i dont know if its just the fuse or its the light bulb if so the fuses that they use are they like the ones used in amps or are they different, and if its the bulb can i just get one from Mitsubishi.

Fuses can be bought at any Auto shop and even from K-mart these days. You can buy them in blister packs - all one ampage (did I just invent a new word), or mixed. Our cars use small blade and large blade type fuses.
Again, pull the bulb and you can get them from any auto shop or k-mart. The length of the globe is in your hand book.
I put l.e.d.s in the courtesy light. I thought it looked good. It always drew a comment:
"You have blue lights in your car."
"yes"
"why?"
"Because I like them. You have a tweety sticker on your window, play boy seat covers and an 'zero to ***** on 7 seconds' sticker on your car, why?"
