hey,
I want to put in a voltmeter (and possibly a air/fuel or Trans Temp later on down the track) and I'm wondering where people have placed any gauges that they've put in. I'm wanting to put it somewhere it won't look too rice and still keep the look of a stock car but still be able to read the gauge while I'm driving (so somewhere maybe around the cluster?). Anyway anyone got any suggestions?
thanks in advance

Put them in under your stereo. Functional, stock looking and not in your face.

If you want to look rice... go the pillar mounted gauges... with blue LED's.

That doesn't look too bad either, What guages are you running as well (as in brand)? because they look pretty cool.

dont put gauges in ay, unless you really need it. if you do try n keep them out of site like what ur thinking of doing. DOnt even think about putting a huge tacho on ur dash... and who the hell needs a shift light??

i'm sure theres about 200 other threads saying what u just said so dont turn this into another DONT RICE thread if he wants gauges then by all means he should get gauges
personally i put my gauges in my glovebox with a custom mount so if i wanna see em i drop the gb down and bobs ya uncle (rice in a box) i did this so its not obvious however i can tune the engine as much as i want and still keep an eye on vitals

That sounds pretty cool, any chance of some pictures?
And don't worry I have no thoughts of putting a monster tacho in (hell I have an auto lol), I just want a guage or 2 to be able to check her vitals because I plan on getting my car ready for some fun track stuff next year (don't expect much but I'd like to get it down to low 15's, high 14's and still keep it as a everyday driver)
