hey guys im looking at puttin a cannon on my TR its a 2.25" intake and a 4"tip.

what is the standard intake size not sure if it is universal.

on a 4cyl it sounds like a fart, on the 6cyl it sounds much better

i have a 3" custom mandrel bent exhaust system on mine with a 4" outlet cannon, i have a sound clip if you want 2 hear it.

Actually Science's car sounds awesome, and he has a 4cyl manual...So i guess they all cant be too bad

i dont reckon you should get a canon, they're good but they're too popular, just like skylines and WRXs. plus itll make you look like a ricer, noone wants that. i just put a sports exhaust 2.25 system, i love it. but still its ur own choice ay, good luck! :D

i think canons look homo...my own personal take, rather a dump pipe, or a good quality resonator, not a huge **** canon and sounds like a wet fart. but if thats the look you want go for it, its your magna make it how u like it, lol

Same here... all noise, no go.

I'd suggest the Lukey sports muffler. Sounds a helluva lot better than standard, a nice growl when giving it some but no droning when cruising. Mate's Pulsar has a cannon and boy does it sound like a wet fart along with a massive amount of cabin noise.

i'll b looking into that, i love listening to my stereo, i don't want to hear my zorst while i'm sitting on the highway, really if i could have a quiet zorst that looked good and had the best for performancing i would take it without a doubt, not a fan personally of the sound on my car anyways, love the sound of some other ppls rides though, never a canon mind u

Cannons are good for performance, there a straight through muffler remember but they look a bit out of place on large cars really unless you cut the rear bar and have it blend in sort of thing. There cheap though but 2.25 is the standard size on most 4cyl's mainly due to the drone and crap soundingness. I'd go for a 2.25" straight through muffler with a suitable tip on it, less mainstream nowadays.
