Hi all,
Have been looking at purchasing a VR-X series II and all the ones I have seen have had the same blue/green pattern interior. Were there other trims available from new?
Personally I strongly dislike this trim but would be interested to hear what other people think? Any experiences of people who replaced the trim and associated costs would also be appreciated.
Thanks :D

there was a run of vrx limited editions that had blue or red leather instead of the black/green pattern fabric. Personally think it was uglier than the standard vrx interior as it was only part of the seat was leather, rest was fabric.
You could easily get the seats retrimmed. about $1k for fabric or $2.5k in leather.
I have the red/black combo interior. I personally think it dicks all over the other standard interiors up until its year. It makes the interior have such a better feel about it. I've only gotten and still frequently get positive remarks from it.

Agreed.. the LE interior sucked major wang.. looked horrible and cheap.
Just allow 1k to retim in fabric.

Or a cheaper option could be sourcing the interior from say, a ralliart (black and red), or if you were keen on leather, an Xi verada.

thanks for the replies, retrim is definitely something I would consider or possibly donor trim from a ralliart.
Have to be on the lookout for these limited editions then :D

On the topic of leather seats , can anybody suggest a good way to clean the standard leather seats that come in VRX's. It is not super good quality leather, and I just use a bit of slightly soapy water - can anybody suggest anything more appropriate?
Cheers,

I use Leatherex, got it from a furniture store, It cleans and conditions the leather in one go, seems to have done a good job on mine, the leather was a bit hard when I got it (wreckers, been there for a while) and ive given it a few hits with this stuff and alot of **** came out of it and the leather is getting softer by the day. Will give it another hit on the weekend, or maybe even tonight if I get bored.
I use those armourall wipes, comes up clean and shiney!

Armourall isn't the best thing, my boss told me to always wipe over leather with good olive oil, not much though.
