when i hit 220 the car punches the accel. back at me a couple of times - is it the engine cutting out? as its only at about 4.5 revs

is it a computer limiting the speed?

if so - how do i remove the limit?

sounds like speed limited - i know the apexi RSM has the funciton to remove the limiter - sends it a false signal - but yeah - i dunno - i know with the S13's silvias and 180's it was a sensor wire next the gear box you can cut to remove it - but i dunno in the magna - though for me 210 is ample fast enough - and besides you shouldn't be hitting the limiter on public roads.

remember - Only Drive as Fast as your Angel can Fly - and You have no Friends at 200km/h!!

huh?? you reading right?? your saying that at 220km/hour your only doing 4500rpm??? holy hell, when i travel consistantaly at 200, i sitting flat on the 5000rpm line!!

My record is 214 km/h. Mind you, I doubt I'd want to go any faster than that in this car.

Yes Ben ,he’s right, when I was closing to 210 my revs were about 4750,but when I get 210 (limit) revs dropped to 4500.And the car was slowing down, few times I was trying that & always the same. :cry:

i've hit 130 :D but that was to overtake.

i dont do much more than 180 i dont feel confident enough to do much more in the car esp with the standard brakes.

if you have a problem with it bouncing at the rev limiter get the cruise control to keep you slightly under that speed.

it aint a rev limiter (when i'm driving, it changes gears when it hits 5.5 thousand) - its a speed limiter that i want to get rid off

Why would you need more than 200 km/h ? I don't think the engine is very happy at constant 4500 - 5000 revs

I know a lot of "drivers" who are comparing their cars by their speedometer's limit or the max speed they reached.

BTW the Evo 8 has 180km/h maximum on the speedometer - and it's not an average car ;)

All Jap built cars for the domestic market are speed limited to 180km/h... well actually our Evo 6, it's 176km/h :p :p :p :p

I have only had the TT magna up to 200km/hr which was at around 6000 rpm in 4th gear

Don't know how far it would go in 5th but I reckon an easy 240 without a doubt
