Sat Nav has an Antenna?!

I thought it was just all on CD.. Predefined as to what Sat would show what map etc.

I could be WAY off.. I'll take a look and see what I can find..

The GPS antenna is how it knows where on those map cd's you are !
Latitude and Longitude are measured from 3 or more satellites to get a "fix" then it overlays the street maps

Coz I did as well and yeah.. it pretty much said the exact same thing!

It actually needs 4 or more. With 3, because the satellites themselves move, the nav
software thinks i'm moving eventhough I'm not.

does anyone know where the satnav antenna is located on a KJ verada GTV? mitsubishi arnt sure the service manual doesnt show its location.

Have you got hold of a GTV sat nav system? That would be pretty cool! Does it use a dvd for maps? I love cool toys!
