Hey guys. I'm about ready to do a full leather interior in my magna. Just wondering how much roughly to expect to pay. Also how expensive is getting your car re-carpeted and the roof-lining re-done and roughly how much this costs. Also does anyone know of any good upholsterers in the brisbane area? Thanks
Anthony

Full leather, very nice.

You could get a Verada interior from a wreckers for around $500, but they're pretty bland.

If you're getting full leather done by an upholsterer, expect to pay A LOT. Like, 2 or 3 thousand.

An eBay seller does pseudo-leather fitted seat covers in your choice of colour for ~$600.

Real, full leather does look and feel awesome, but it will cost a pretty penny.

his work is exceptional... havent had the cash yet though. and also knox auto carpets sell full replacement carpets in many colours and styles for about $150-$180 i think

pm the user J-pap. He has just recently done his seats in leather. Also got a quote for his roof lining to be done.

a EXCELLENT genuine leather interior will cost you a fair bit, with interiors you get what you pay for, there is so many short cuts that trimmers take, have a look at the work and ask q's eg is all the stitching tripple stitched etc, i would expect to pay $6,000 for what i call a good interior

just my 2c worth

your about ready to do a full leather interiour, but you have no idea on the cost? that doesnt make sense but ok, good leather = expensive, cheap leather = exactly that, cheap but could be nasty if you go to a bodgy place. age old saying; you get what you pay for.
can i ask, are you a red p plater?

Mate, who said cost was the factor which made me about ready for the interior? The price is not an issue. The fact that I have just booked a weeks holiday off work and uni and dont need my car for a few days is the reason i am about ready. So why would you make a comment like that? The reason I was asking is that I have just been quoted $2500 for front and rear seats and door cards so I was wondering whether this seems like a fair price? Sorry for asking though. And yes i am a P plater. No idea what a red P plater is

Its awesome having an uncle who is an upholsterer and a brother who is a fabricator.

Everything is so cheap.

I had the vinyl seats redone in my VC for $100. He re-carpeted for nothing as well.

tf_sport - dont' take offence to anyones replies. Few of them are just stupid. 2500 for door cards and seats is reasonable. get them to do your console lid aswell for free. Typically for extra bolstering/editing stitch pattern you'd be looking at an extra 500 or so. steering wheel would cost around 300,around 450 for roof lining redone in suede.

if ur in Victoria Imlachs has a KJ GTV with black perforated leather interior. maybe a cheaper option. it would be less than 1K it also has the nardi wood grain wheel but its useless without the matching nardi airbag as the stock one wont fit.
