G'Day All, I have a TP Magna That Drives really well with lotsa get up and go Then suddenly without warning it just dies as if there is no fuel I can knock it into neutral and rev the living daylight out of the engine which indicates to me it is not a fuel problem. I have been thinking maybe the auto is doing something funny can anyone help or advise???
Cheers!!! 8)
it has to be the transmission if there is no problems when u whack it in Neutral. Try changing the tranny oil, or get it serviced to see if that helps.

wrong
It could be something to do with the stall converter
is it efi or carbi? you wont get the secondarys open when its out of gear, maybe they are rooted and u will only notice that then your driving around.

No problem dude, also check your pressure regulator. From my second read of the initial post it could well be fueling and ignition timming. You wouldn't happen to have an timing light to check that out? Severly retarded/advanved timing wont really effect an engine untill there is load.

I had the same problem, I removed the plug on to the air filter disconnecting the air flow sensor and it ran like a charm. You could replace the unit inside the filter or run without -LHX
