Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help out with a few of the questions i have below:
The skirts on the doors (not the actual side skirts, but the grey bits on the doors at the bottom), how do they come off? Are they meant to come off? I removed the 2 nuts behind the door but it almost seems they're stuck on.
When replacing the side skirts, did you have any issues with holes not lining up? We haven't tried fitting it yet but it looks like the skirt is at a slighty diff angle to the stock one where it mounts. Also how is the skirt held on up the top?
When replacing the front and rear bars, and the side skirts, what are some hints/tricks that will make the job alot quicker?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :D.

wont b able to help you with fitment of a full bodykit but as for your side skirt question
the grey bits at bottom of the door are just the 2 nuts then they are held in with body plugs (think thats what they called, same as the plugs on the back of ur door trims holding them on) and they should also be taped down from factory, mine came off easily, i assume that they had been taken off previously. i think the magna manual suggest u use fishing line of some sort to cut remove the moulding from the door (dont quote me)
as for the sideskirts, time to get creative mounting it, most ppl who fit bodykits have to modify the dam things to make them look OEM, i dislike my sideskirts immesnly the way they have been mounted on my car, when i fix the bodykit im redoing my side skirts (make complete new mould and redo them) so that they acutally the side skirts, not just stuck over my stock skirts
have fun with the bodykit, i would have more answers if u waited a couple of months to do this

the grey bits the door are stuck on with double sided tape and the 2 nuts and clips.
if ur talking about the ralliart skirt then it will all line up, but screw the white clips on the bottom and bash them in rather than trying to line up the screw holes. it also has tape on the top edge like the normal skirts.
EDIT: and buy the proper 3M tape not the cling crap they sell at automotive places it doesnt hold S#$%

Thanks heaps for the info!
So the stock side skirts are screwed in underneath (Which i found) but the top is held in with heavy duty double sided tape?
I'll have to grab some.
And for the door ones, i'll need to do the same?
As for the bars, I'm after info like, do i need to remove the headlights/grille etc. what's the easiest way?
I can see on the bars i've got some screw holes already, but it looks like i may need to drill some more (had to drill holes for the ralliart splitter).

Anyone else with some hints/tricks regarding the front and rear bar that'll save me headaches later?
Ashneel and Cittris are clued up on the fitment of these, they should help you out no worries.

with genuine bars the holes are pre drilled, shouldn't need to drill any more. for 3m tape preston moters in dandenong are a 3M supplier. it should bolt on with no dramas, headlights can stay but will need to take out the grille. also the muffler needs to be lowered for the back bumper.
to get rid of residual double sided tape on the body rub it with a rubber foot off a old computer it cleans it off without scratching.

There are quite a few predrilled holes, but it seems that there are no holes at the top of the bars on the sides, how does it stay in?
I have some double sided tape now so tapes all good :).
