Dunno if it's normal but I have this hissing/whistling sound coming from my engine. When I open the bonnet the sound is loudest around the snorkel area. The engine is stock apart from a K&N Panel Filter. Any ideas what it might be?

Check for any air leaks from loose clamps or hoses mate.

If it was a leak from the intake manifold, your car wouldnt be running too good.
