Hi guys just wanted to know if the rims from a 380 GT would fit on a TH Magna?
Would the original tyres and rims from the 380 GT fit directly on my TH Magna?
Has anyone done this?
Cheers!!!

From what I've seen, the wheels will fit but the wheel tyre combos are not legal on the
magna as the tyres only have a load rating of 92.

^^ what he said ^^
The rims will be fine as some members have fitted them, although the tyres aren't legal!!

I thought the 380 was heavier than a 3rd gen magna.
The link in this thread here: http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42597
Says that you can match the tyre to the load rating, OR to the maximum weight rating. Tyre's weight rating shouldn't be less than a magnas.
My guess is that the 380 has better weight distribution. Also, Mitsubishi has been know to
overspecify/over engineer their specs. And also, the other 380s have 95 load rating tyres.

The weight rating and load rating are refering to the same thing, just that the load rating/index is an assigned numerical value used to represent the load carrying capabilities of the tyre whereas the weight rating is the actual amount in kg's. Some cars say 650kg some will say load rating of 93, 93 corrisponds to 650kg.
94 = 670kg
95 = 690kg
...i can tell you the 380GT's have a load rating of 93 for the 17" wheel and tyre package.

Ahhh cheers for that :).
So what does the letter mean?
Eg. i have 94h tyres on my rims. Or is there only 1 letter associated with the 1 load rating?

The letter denotes the maximum safe speed rating of a tyre:
Q = 99 MPH, 160km/h
S = 112 MPH, 180km/h
T = 118 MPH, 190km/h
U = 124 MPH, 200km/h
H = 130 MPH, 210km/h
V = 149 MPH, 240km/h
Z = 149 MPH, 240km/h and over
W = 168 MPH, 270km/h
Y = 186 MPH, 300km/h
