gday all,having succesfully (sortof) replacing the head gasket on the TR-no leaks anyway.took it out for a spin & all going well-starts a treat ,seemed to be idling nice but when she gets up to around 60kmh a funny sortof a grinding noise appears.back off & its gone.now to describe it as funny as it sounds -it sounds & feels like something getting tensioned & if you didnt back off it would keep going to the point of snapping.it seems to be coming from over near the dizzy as far as i can tell.also for some reason i wasnt overly confident putting the things back on that end of the head.any takers.?apologies if this makes no sense to you on reading,i just cant seem to put the words to the actual problem.oh ****,..i'll stop now.cheers.
