View Full Version : Recommended Panel Beaters in Brisbane?
If anyone knows a good reputable panel beater in Brisbane - preferably southside - could you please list their details.
My neighbour reversed into my car (failed to see it there, funny that!). He totally smashed the driver's door. I think they will have to replace the door, can't see them panel-beating it out.
Fortunately he admitted to doing the damage and it will be going through his insurance.
I'm hoping I can choose the repairer, if the quote/pricing is within the ballpark of what AAMI are expecting.
I also want to get the bumpers resprayed and a few other little nicks and minor scratches touched up (which I will pay for, of course), while the car is in the workshop.
So if anyone knows a good and reasonably priced panel shop, please let me know.
Thanks

southside bodyworks at slacks creek off moss st. Swains bodyworks is also around there. if you are looking south west then try crawfords crash repairs at airy st wacol. or martins collision at browns plains.

Ring someone like Ready's or Harvey's Towing and ask them what panel shops they use as yards on the south side.
P & M motor body repairs are at capalaba and cleveland. Swains arn't too bad either (use harvey's as their prefered towies).

dont not go to swains i wouldn't get a rusty old wheel barrow touched by them, also try new image paint and panel in monte st slacks creek, or street neat kinross rd thronlands ( he doesn't do insurance tho)

ummm new image is not sold, russell still owns it and works there i only just had a hilux that i am building up painted there,
i have sold smash parts for too long before my current job and i have seen the swains quality of work.
my brothers car was done by swains after it was stolen and smashed during a police chase the paint had so much orange peel it was stupid and also the car couldn't be wheel aligned properly as the front end was never straightened and the car ended up be traded in because it was that bad, and it was only an 18 month old car,
also more panel shops i would reccomend would be waterford panel beaters, southside body works ( but don't pressure them) and smash attack (again let them take there time)
