When i purchased my Verada it had paint swirls from someone trying to cut and polish the paint, I don't think it was too deep and didn't cut out all the clear coat,
how would people recommend me get paint swirls out? My colour is metalic dark maroon,
I'm getting my bonnet and bumper resprayed as soon as i purchase one, i would preffer not to have to pay for a painter to do the work on the rest of the car aswel...

Heaps of info if you search man. I'd suggest a paint swirl remover like Meguires and some elbow grease, then a good polish and a wax.

Very hard to remove them by hand, although you can hide them a bit.
Most effective away is always a swirl remover/polish with a machine.

hey disciple been doing a lot of searching, but i guess my skills in that area are somewhat lacking...always first rule of thumb search before making a new thread,
They used a buffer with cutters and did a real dodgy job of it :( I'll have a look into both of those,
so you recommend using some swirl remover and a new pad on a buffer?

I'm afraid its not quite as simple as just whacking some compound on a machine and buffing away.. as Mad iX will verify.
Its more or less finding the correct grade compound, correct pad, and correct machine speed in combination. Right?

Wouldn't be any fun otherwise.
