Got my hands on a 380 Workshop Manual CDROM, anybody want it or know where I can upload an image for all to share?

Any chance of putting it on Bit Torrent so that we can download it? That's if you want to share it...up to you. You could pre-arrange a short window in which everyone gets it, who wants it, then pull it off before it is noticed.
Any other suggestions? (to anyone, that is)
(PS If you're looking at a swap, what would you be interested in?)

Im more than happy to share it, thats the reason I bought it when I saw it, so people on here could benefit.
If somebody on here wants to arrange a torrent of it (I dont know how to create them, I only know how to leech them :) ) Then Im more than happy to provide a copy for everybody.

Me too... I haven't set up a Torrent file to upload, but I know others who have, so I'll find out and get back to you, assuming nobody else has advised you by then.

Sorry, no answer yet from my friend. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll have some details to follow.
Also, what is the format of the size you mentioned?

Hi there
MitsiMonsta offered to host a CD image if it became available and TBuTcher has made the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen manuals available online so perhaps he would oblige

I got some info on Bit Torrent, but forgot to ask which Bit Torrent program you're using.
Anyway, in which ever program you're using, you'll need to setup <sharing a new file> and nominate your file (the 380 Workshop Manual) as the one to be shared. Then you download a Bit Torrent file which will give you - and others online - access to the 380 file. Because of this "open access" you should put his 380 file in a separate directory and select this when nominating the file for sharing.
If you have a broadband setup, it should take about an hour to download (if it is compressed). If it isn't compressed, you should consider doing that before making it available for download.
I hope this makes sense. I haven't done it myself, but can get further instructions should you need them.
Good luck!

Do you have it, or know someone who does? Yes I'll certainly download a copy if you can point me in the right direction (torrent location wise).

Hi, thanks a lot for that! Downloading it now.
As a Plan B, I previously checked out ebay & have the 380 Workshop Manual too for $10.

The file is a .iso. It's a CD image.
Rename it back and open it with a CD burning program and burn it to a CD or attach it to a virtual drive letter with a program like Daemon tools.
