I cut the back plastic and for that matter the front plastic as well and clamped the mesh between the two.

I just meshed the front of my TH grill today :)

I have it in front of the back part like dajaja at the moment. I will probably leave it that way but I am also gonna paint the main part black to match the rest of the car. Currently it is a crappy grey colour. If i can get my hands on a camera I will post some pics.

I'm in the process of doing the grill mod and I have cut both the front plastic and the black part.. except.. I am using a TE/TF grill.

I shall be placing the mesh inbetween the Front part and the black part, they will all be painted the same colour as the car, still unsure as to where or not to paint the mesh the same colour as the car.

ive already seen WTCHMEs bodykit but that was in low light pictures....and now you got a pic in the light i just gotta say DAIIIIIMN!!!! That bodykit is sick (Good work Blake) and that mesh looks better than i thought it would.

Thumbs up to both of you...and all else who was involved.

DVS: Looks nice but I would be concerned about the fact that you have now made it a 10sec task to break into the engine bay; The mesh can be easy punched through using even bare hands, then one pull on the latch and the bonnet opens.

I'd like to see them try this mesh is 1mm thick this it's tuffer than the aluminum mesh that most people use and it was hard enough to cut it let alone punch it out, trust me the way it's mounted it won't push or pull out, and if you know how the grill is mounted you would know that you could probably pull the whole grill out anyway at least with mine there's no centre to grab onto

ive so gotta do this mod, hey dvs, how did you remove the center again i cant remember what you said

DVS: Upon closer inspection I can see what you mean now, it looks like that honeycomb punched security mesh that is open used on security and flyscreen doors, unlike that cheap junk from Autobarn :D.

actually, do you still have the honeycomb mesh dvs?

how much of it, and is it possible to get enough to do a front bar(like WTCHME's ) as well as a grill?

The TR/TS/KR/KS grills are attached to the body frame not the bonnet as
in the case of the latter models and is held in by clips and is easier to fit a
mesh on.

yes I do still have some of the mesh but I'm using it to redo my grill and maybe the lower part of my bumper, I could keep enough to do your grill if you like.

WOW That looks great. What is the front bar and spoiler. That picture is better than the others that I saw on your site last time. I will have to go and have another look. :)
