Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyones put mud flaps on their kitted magnas (namely VRX/Ralliart)?
Obviously the stock ones won't fit over the new skirt.
I was thinking of getting some generic rubber ones and making mounts for them, or even cutting my stock ones so they sit flat, but dunno if that would look any good?
Anyone done this?
Cheers :),
Leigh.

i think most ppl remove them never to be reinstalled. dont see many (if any) kitted cars with mud flaps. Usually when a car gets dummped on the deck the flaps will drag on the ground.
they also look ghey

Is it possible to get moulded mudflaps that could be colour coded for tl/tw vr-x's? as i'm sick of getting crap flipped up onto my paint. Anyone know?

drive a bit more slower
but ya....like tzaboy said...the mud flaps will be too low and by the time u drive over a few driveways and speed bumps, you'd be wondering who stole ur mud flaps

Will need mud flaps when you do go off road. It helped. Is ok if you are going only to be city driving.
Dunno about you guys, without the mud flaps and you go travelling, the stones will hit and cause more scratches actually.

You could get some of that protective film applied in the worst spots.

Yeh i know they'll look ghey but i'm hoping they'll look better than scratched up paint :P.
Stock ones wont fit without alot of modification.
Just figured there would be some generic flat ones that might fit? I'll have to check out autobarn.
Anyone with kitted magnas find they get alot of chips/scratches? Or am i just being paranoid?

Well... my car is lowered and kitted and the mudflaps are history.
We live on a dirt road, so it literally does end up with a lot of mud flicked up and it looks pretty bad.
But, that said, I'm yet to have any actual damage done to the paint from stones etc. I find the front bar is much more at risk.
So I'd say yeah, you are being a bit paranoid. Although I couldn't be more at risk in terms of mud, stones etc because of where I live, I still wouldn't re-fit the flaps. The mud streaks don't really detract from the benefits of the way the car looks without the flaps, and yeah, no stone damage as of yet.
Scrap the bastards! :D
