Im looking at a COI for my golf, has anyone heard of BMC's Carbon Dynamic Airbox? Its the same technology as an F1 airfilter (BMC make F1 airfilters) and it replaces the airbox completly and has an 80mm flexy alloy tube for Cold air induction.
RRP is nearly $600, but i can get one 2nd hand (didnt fit his car) for $170

reckon it's a bit of a bogey...
seriously i doubt it will make much/any difference except noise.... unless you go all out on the golf and supercharge it or something like that...

maybe go for it and try to get it a lil bit cheaper..... $170 is much better than $600 :|
but i'd keep the $$ for car servicing, seen the price of pads and rotors for a VW? my mate has one, nice car omg... not cheap to repair

Yeah and 40,000k before new disc rotors :(
My wife had one, used to chew through rotors and pads like you wouldn't believe.
Might have been the way she drove it though :doubt: - killed the engine
The Magna is holding up fine to her though... :D
BTW - $600 for some carbon fibre tubing and some heater ducting???!!
Cheers
