ive got a 2nd gen at the moment, and i seriously looked into getting that SuperCharged but that ended up being more expensive than i anticipated so that fell thru, and the main reason that i wanted to SC was because after seeing Michael and Tristian's SC 3rd gens i was like "holy shizzle thats ****ing hawt!!!!! I WANT THAT!!!!" but yeah, to do it to my 2nd gen its just going to be more hassle than anything else, so now im contemplating, just thinking about it and having a look at whats available, but what should i look for in buying a 3rd gen? ive had a search on CarsGuide and Drive and there are a couple around, the cheapest was one for 4k but it had like 300,XXX on the clock, is that rediculous? is it near death? coz most of the ones ive paroused have been 150,XXX or over, and my TR only has 118,XXX.

and another couple of questions, i have recaros in my TR with custom rails built to fit the base, will these be able to transfer straight over to a 3rd gen if i was to go thru with it? the seats are the main thing that i would move. rims as well but both 2nd and 3rd gen are 5stud.

just after a couple of ideas or some info and what not, 3rd gens are *** hot especially when lowered! just having a look around so anything you could help me with would be awsome.

cheers,
Tristan

You can buy a front cut with the Japanese 2.5 V6 turbo and have that fitted for 3-3.5K That's a 158kw engine with quad cams etc. Then once complied, go down the usual turbo improvements - bingo, TR supercar!! And sell the low kms engine and box, as they fetch good money. As a bonus, you get the Diamante front end, which compared to the TR, is a much better look. There won't be many of those around, and the power will surprise many a performance car driver!!
My 2 cents.

92-96? Diamante from Japan. I know Confederate Wreckers here in SA have done a couple. Was a real fun car, and I regret selling it.
