Yo.

Just wondering the fuel economy of the XI veradas. How are the experiences of people that own them. Im looking at KJ ish so 3.5l

The reason i ask is that i am gunna sell my VT commo, and replace it with a verada, but i do 100k round trip for work 6 days a week, and the commodore is on LPG.

So yeah any experiences RE: fuel economy would be awesome

Cheers

I have a KJ Ei Verada and get between 11.5 and 13.5 l/100km depending on how i drive
This is 100% city/suburban driving

Xi or ei.. it doesn't matter which model in terms of petrol consumption, one comes with more factory features. But they both come with the same engine and transmission.

I have a 99 KH Xi and before I got it supercharged it was getting aorund 14L/100km for city and 9-10L/100km for highway driving.

Same as MicJay....
high 8's and low 9's for long flat 100km/h driving
Mid 12's for longish suburban driving
14's for congested traffic.
high 14s or 15s for my not even warmed up 7 min trips to work.

I'd say with a long trip like that you'd be looking at 12L/100km. Ever though of getting a smaller car that would go through a lot less petrol? Or is a family car needed? 600km + a week is a hell of a lot.

MicJay , how much does yours drink now with the supercharger?

It has now dropped to around 15-16L/100km for city and roughly and still around the 10L/100km for highway driving

I do 100k round trip for work 5 days plus weekend driving and I got through a tank a week 50/50 city (peak) / highway. 11.2 average according to the trip comp. for a 3.5 TJII.

Ive got a KE, and I get 550km out of 53L, then the petrol light comes on.

I work in the city aswell.

Thats why I wont trade my KE for anything.
