Put them in a sealed box.
Make sure your amp has ample power to run them.
Make sure your amp has a decent amount of damping to control those puppies otherwise it would be like Pam Anderson trying to put her boobs in a training bra and going for a run.

how did you honestly come up with that? whats the dampaning factor actually mean with amps

Sorry to explain, damping factor is the amps ability to control the movement of the speaker cone. The bigger the cone the more control you should try and get so that your sub doesn't sound muddy. Eek can tell you, with his DD 15inch he ran it at 1ohm ( 2ohm DVC sub ) and complained so we told him to run it at 4ohm and quadruple the damping factor and he was much happier. e.g. below on how it works.
If Amp A has a damping factor of 200 @ 4ohm.
@ 1ohm = 50
@ 2ohm = 100
@ 4ohm = 200
@ 8ohm = 400 etc.
Now you see what I mean, in a training bra her boobs would go everywhere. :bowrofl:

went and picked one up today, **** its big. other one is ordered in. also found out that they have to be in a specifically designed box, otherwise it'll bugger the sub. so im gettin box details given to me. also picked up one of my mrv-1507's from geelong car sound aswell. i could use 4 of them to power the subs, but instead am taxing my house mates Orion 25000 mono amp and that should be enought to power both. will keep yas updated.
whoever told you 'it has to be in a specifically designed box' is half full of it. there is no ONE box for the subs.. if you make the box too big, the sub wont be loading properly and mean lower power handling.
as a generalisation, 4.5cuft ported with a 6" aero port would be good for an 18", or 3.5-4cuft sealed.

hey mate as some one who sells them and has made several boxs
keep it to about 2.4 cubic foot sealed
and 3.2 cubic foot ported with 2x 4" ports about 13 " long
jeez that is a tiny tiny box for an 18.. whats the power handling like on them? gotta be decent in a box like that..
i'd never imagine putting an 18 in anything slightly that small.. i recently made a monster 6.5cuft box with 2 6" aeros for my mates 18.. that was a heavy box :)
