hey guys i have painted parts of my intier but i want to paint the peice of the dash that goes from near the dash cluster to the other side of the carwhere the air vents are if you understand does anyone know how to remove it?

u have to undo your glove box and let it drop.

reach under and up toward the plastic, and you will feel one wingnut close to the centre aircon vents, and then feel under the plastic pipe that runs to the passenger side airvents, and you will feel another wingnut hiding under there. undo the screw thats behind the dash cluster, and then youll be right to remove it...just be carefull you dont crack it in the centre...remove with care mate!

i just removed one from my KR....easy once you do it....just a pain to find the left wing nut.

Gotta take out the globebox and the piece of plastiuc behind the glovebox mate, put your hand behind there and you will find 4 wingnuts, well 3 or 4 wingnuts, if you dont undo those wingnuts, that panel will not move;)

I walk passed at about 12.30pm then at 4.30pm I walk past on my way back home and there he is exactly where he was earlier, I ask him "what's up man?" he says "I've been trying to get this last screw for 3 hours now ut it's nowhere to be found, how the f*** am I going to get this bastard out" (panel behind seats), I just pulled at the panel and it slipped out smooth as, sure enough there were no more screws. He was pretty pissed off.

man that sucks. i hate it when you drop a screw and it disappears into some blackhole... which is not too dis similar from the black hole to where all your left socks go..:nuts:
