Hey,

Im thinking of soon getting a car system.

right now its the stock tape/radio player and since it was a ex-business car it has the mobile holder where u stick it in, it recharges and sounds go's in the car speakers and there is a black kinda mic on the drivers top window side where you speak.

Im wondering since i listen to radio mostly now since tapes suck. Is it possible for me to keep tape/radio player as well as my phone free thing + a extra cd player?

Vinh.

Get a CD player car kit?
this allows you to 'plug' your portable cd player into the cassette deck

FM modulator?
Its like a FM transmitter; you just 'tune' into the channel the fm modulator is set on, and it plays...

Damit if the stock tape/radio player has to go :/
You reckon car phone hands free thinngy will still work?

I think it may be conncted to the tape/radio in a way because I can turn up volume and lower volume with radio/tape player?

the above items dont affect its normal playing... its just an addon.. acutally, nothin is acutally 'added on' the cd protable thingi is just a cable that runs from your cd player (via the headfones jack) and has a tape connected on the end of it..

you play it like a tape, but you control your music via your cdplayer.

Dont really like the idea of car cd player kit.

Might as well drop the tape/radio deck if my mobile phone pro business kit or whatever you call them will still work with a mp3 player.

Problem with that GMB is that is plain ass sucks! and looks dodgy.

the FM CD wireless thing puts out poor quality.

In terms of getting a stereo. Get a Pioneer.. Even the most basic model supports Hands free phones. (basic model 200$)

My 99 TH came with a clarion FM CD player that is mounted where the empty hole is underneath your standard deck - you tune it to 88.0fm on the stock radio and it looks the shit.. i dont know how much it is or anything tho cos the previous owner must have got it installed.. in any case its made by clarion so its available..

as far as sound quality goes - its passable... i wanna upgrade to the pioneer 550 the one with mp3 tho..

He didnt say it had to look good; nor proform 134db of crisp sound! he wanted CD compatibility without ditching the old stuff!

what do you suggest withing comming close to buying a new HU... common, im willing to hear you out.... im waiting....

The new model magnas come with a in built option to add a cd player unit (6 stacker)

All you do is buy the stock 6 stacker clarion cd option from the Mitsu dealers. (ill post a pic tonight when i get home)

Rather than do that id buy a new HU..

the tf's wouldnt come with that option?!

just get a normal cd player and u can listen to everything.....minus tapes but tapes are crappy.....just buy a cheap pioneer second handy....you will probably spend that much gettin a portable cd player.
