rough idle can be a vacume leak or injector problem

Have you changed the King Lead, this is the one from the coil to the distributor?
Second is get the injectors cleaned.
Clues are that if the car starts and idles OK but is a pig when you try to accelerate, then OK when running at a reasonable speed - If so is likely to be electrics. Either the leads or plugs are breaking down under load.
If the idle is rough, acceleration is rougher then back to not quite right when cruising then it is likely to be injectors.
I had similar problems with the KS Verada several years ago and it was cused by ALL the Leads and Spark plugs - Then much better but not perfect.
Then had the injectors cleaned and balanced off the car - PERFECT.
Hope that this helps.

Any chance you got a load of bad fuel.
Disconnect at filter, put about 1 litre in a glass bottle, let it settle. Check colour, water content or flotsom in the fuel.
Hope this helps

Since it drives OK with the AFM unplugged, it might be an issue when the engine is running in closed loop mode (warm engine, in cruise conditions). Try unplugging the O2 (oxygen) sensor and driving around as before, see if this alleviates the problem.
