View Full Version : Coustic 12's
well i've heard alot about the Coustic 12's as being a really good entry level sub. Being the not so rich person that i am, and having some spare money on me, i went out and bought 2 of them and an Audioline 4x200w amp to run the subs bridged.
I've picked up the subs (pictured) but the amp im picking up on Thursday, will most probably have it all in by next weekend. Will let u know how they go. Box is going to be made from 1.8mm MDF to the specs given with the subs.
I almost bought Audiobahn 10's but settled for these instead.

I am seriously hoping you mean 18mm MDF and NOT 1.8mm MDF!!
Very nice though!!

yeah i ment 18mm MDF
well they're in, and 'run-in' and i can say now, they friggin pump. Shit all over my brother Kicker 12" comps. The box isnt mine, just a loaner till i get my one made. The box is actually for Kicker 12comps, and its built to fit in a commodore, which is why its sitting so far forward. You cant tell in pic but the subs are actually about 20cm from the end of the boot, they arent touching.
Definately the best $420 i've ever spent. (the subs, + audioline 4x200w)
Inside mirror vibrates like a bitch, side mirrors vibrate like bitches, makes it hard to see out of. I need to take the parcel shelf brake light off as it keeps coming loose.
Well thats all from me, bye bye.
